GIVE YOURSELF SOME CREDIT

You know how the saying goes "You are the product of the things you hear", I take this to be true and as individuals, if we open up our ears to unfiltered information particularly from unchecked sources we will find that our lives will unconsciously fall into the pattern of what we consume as social advice.

We know that the primary sense of hearing is the ear but if you think about it, you hear with your eyes as well if not clearly than your ear. You want to ask how?
Notice how for instance you pick up a book to read in a quiet place where there is no sound, you will soon realize that what you read with your eyes resounds within your ears as though the book speaks to you as you read it. It is how you get engrossed or say "this book really spoke out to me", it's how the Holy Spirit speaks to our ears when we read the scripture with our eyes. Our eyes are linked to our ears so we won't be amiss when we say "You are what you look at".

The point is this; you want to be careful of the things you hear either with your ear or eyes from both animate or inanimate sources. With the increase in motivational talks,  Entrepreneurial speeches, Life Coach/Mentorship programmes and Relationship expertise chances are that while these information sources may be reliable it really doesn't mean it should or will be applicable to you.

You are your first point of call if you desire any positive and uplifting change in your life. Now I am not against informing yourself with basic helpful information if you do not know what to do concerning certain areas of your life. But what I need you to understand is to take credit for your ability to naturally invent your solution that will best suit you, do not undermine your creative abilities. Anytime you need advise or help first be sure that you mentally with your own brain explore all creative means to help yourself.

Sometimes external advise may seem like it works for others and not for you this is true because when 10 people have the same problem it only means there are 10 different solutions available to solve it. So, if one way doesn't work find another but always start from within.

You are way smarter and more creative than you think and you really do not have to wait until you are between a rock and hard place before your ingenuity kicks in. In truth only you know when you need to change a negative character, a bad attitude, a toxic relationship or a nasty mindset.

Own your problem and you will see how easy you can come up with your own solution if you stay true to yourself.

ADULTRESS DOOM

To know wisdom, instruction and to understand words of insight let the wise hear and increase in learning and the one who understands obtain guidance. Were you not instructed not to forsake the instructions of our father and the teachings of our mother be used as a garland for your head and as pendant for your neck? When sinners come with enticement and plot to lie in wait for blood, are you not strong enough to refuse consent and flee from such worthless and wicked persons you call acquaintances, or did you not take counsel from our father when He said the man filled with crooked speech, the one who winks with his eyes, signals with his feet, points with his finger and whose heart devise evils, will have calamity come on him in a moment that he is beyond healing?   Now I laugh at your calamity, terror strikes and I mock you now. Distress and anguish has come upon your flesh and body because you heard and refused to heed, your complacency is now your woe. Do you now won...

I AM WAITING

‘’Am Waiting, Am Waiting, Am Waiting’’ is a makeup chorus in one of the SpongeBob SquarePant’s episode, for those of us who love cartoons. SpongeBob one day found written on the box of Garry’s (his pet snail) food ‘’free gift inside’’ so with great exhilaration he ran back to the grocery store, bought a whole lot of snail food boxes, went home and started eating the snack so he could get the free price in the box. He eventually found one gift coupon which he posted so he could get his free gift by mail post. With this same excitement SpongeBob remained by the post box waiting for hours for the post man to arrive with His gift, at first the wait was stimulating because he knew he was expecting something then after a while he began to worry if His gift would actually come, after some minutes His apprehension began to grow that while he was yet by the post box he got depressed and wept ‘’oh I wasted my whole life waiting by this post for my present’’. Patrick his dumb star fish b...

THE GOSPEL IN REVERSE

Its early this morning and am in this vehicle heading to Victoria Island, a man who had joined the bus as we pulled out from the bus stop started with hymns and praises to God, he sang well and had a good number of songs so I flow along and mentally shake my head to the melody of the tune, anticipating to hear a good message to end the singing session. oh boy was i wrong. Although wasn’t so bad though but I think on a fine day if he were selling a product I needed badly, I wouldn’t feel the need to buy from him. I believe in God and I like being attentive to everyone that preaches. Because God is so big I could learn something new and see something of Him from an entirely perspective, so I listen (which is good, most of you don’t). I also have unreserved respect for those who commit time to preach while commuting, it shows just how passionate they are about evangelism and it is one of the many opportunities to reach out to new people every day.   "God loves you and...
