ARE YOU A WIFE MATERIAL.

Infrequently men use the term “wife material” to describe a lady of personal interest who they believe have certain appealing character, behavior or attributes to build and sustain a family. As lightly used as ‘’wife material’’ may be sometimes a man is often particular about the type of woman well deserving to be called such.

In modern times we have repeatedly seen that being wife material goes beyond physical beauty although it could be on the list. if a man is honest and not proposing a relationship because of selfish reasons like family wealth, influence or status he is more likely to go for a lady that might be unlikely, opposite or strange to general expectations. Truthfully what a man sees in a ‘’wife material’’ lady is distinct from what another man sees but not far apart.

More women now prefer to be the happening girl around town, the curvy red carpet diva available at all social gatherings, many more are pretentious and self-absorbed in present personal gratifications; others are overly particular of physical appearance above morals which is more reason men objectify such women. Lengthy hair extensions, trending beauty product and body awareness campaigns are the new professionalism of the new age woman, developing phony foreign accent and fictitious life of glamour is equivalent to self development.

There are a good number of beautiful talented ladies who are successful in their chosen field without conceit. 

Some will say the “wife material” woman is;

1.     Kind and considerate: having mental capacity to understand and respond to different situations. She is clearheaded and respects her man and others.

2.     She is homey but not home bound: she is outgoing and intelligent, makes the house fun to be in, and she is knowledgeable in business and not lazy.

3.     She is not high maintenance: she has needs but plans available resources to good use. She is a manager and appreciates the benefits of a great family. She values children hers or others.

4.     She is a builder: she improves herself with the intent to be independent and to support her partner. She is full of encouragement and is fun loving but not at any great expense.

5.     She understands when she errs and is quick to make amend, forgive and move on. She is aware of her own values and will not fall short arrogantly.

6.     A man can comfortably plan his future with her in the picture without hesitation.
